The renovation of the Playa Suite Hotel in Torrette di Fano, Marotta, a project by Nano Studio Architetti, has transformed the former Hotel Playa into a modern and inviting establishment. With its distinctive seven-story octagonal design, the building commands a direct view of the beach and sea, offering a truly breathtaking panorama. The interior design draws inspiration from the ever-present vista of the sea and shore, employing a color palette that spans from varying tones of blue and azure to the subtle hues of sand and beige, in a range of saturations.
The considered use of these colors evokes a feeling of freshness and serenity, crafting environments that resonate with the location’s natural beauty, without overwhelming it.
For the ground floor flooring – encompassing the lobby, restaurant, and bar areas – the designers selected the elegant veining of the marble effect Incanto Calacatta Michelangelo Glossy collection in a 120×120 cm format, imparting a sense of considerable luxury. The walls are adorned with wallpapers reminiscent of the marine world, drawing inspiration from aquatic flora and fauna to strengthen the connection with the surrounding natural environment. Every element of the bespoke furnishings contributes to a unique ambiance, where comfort merges seamlessly with a refined and contemporary aesthetic.
The suites, distributed across five floors, echo the ground floor’s color palette, albeit with a more geometric and refined approach. Within these spaces, wallpapers displaying metaphysical influences and herringbone floors, crafted using the Woodchoice wood-effect collection in the elegant Chevron 11×54 Sugar size, evoke an atmosphere of order and tranquility, while maintaining a strong connection to tradition.
For the wall coverings in the en-suite bathrooms, the Incanto marble-effect stoneware collection was once again selected, this time in the 60×60 cm format.
Porcelain stoneware is valued not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its practicality. It is a material extremely resistant to wear, scratches, and stains, rendering it ideal for high-traffic environments such as hotels and accommodation facilities.
The entire project distinguishes itself through its ability to craft sophisticated and functional environments. Every detail, from the selection of materials to the spatial arrangement, is meticulously considered to offer guests a unique sojourn, deeply connected with nature and the seascape.
