Nine times Top Employer and four time Best Employer
Our commitment to social sustainability, professional growth, and initiatives for the safety and well-being of all of us has allowed us to be part of the Top Employer certified companies since 2017. The recognition is the final result of the analysis by the Top Employers Institute aimed at enhancing corporate excellence in human resources. To be certified, the company must complete an evaluation of practices through a questionnaire that is validated and assessed. If the results, compared with other companies in the sector, are positive, the company obtains the Top Employer certification along with an analysis of the score obtained to identify areas for further improvement. We have also obtained the Best Employers certification for the fourth consecutive year, an award aimed at companies that excel in human resource management and creating a positive work environment. The Best Employers certification is based on surveys by Statista, an online platform specializing in data collection and visualization, which conducts independent research on over 170,000 employees in more than 50 countries.
The PEOPLE-NESS Program
To promote a 360° culture of well-being, the important training program PEOPLE-NESS was launched in 2024, designed and developed for the entire company population. It has already delivered 500 hours of training and involved more than 200 people, nearly 70% of whom are women. With the support of industry experts, PEOPLE-NESS addresses topics related to psychophysical well-being, the enhancement of diversity, and the improvement of relationships, with the aim of representing a true path of personal and collective growth. The PEOPLE-NESS program was also presented at the “Learning More Festival,” the first festival in Italy dedicated to training, learning, and the enhancement of human capital.
The Young T.I.L.E. project represents an investment in young people’s talent and creativity and bears testament to our commitment for sustainability and innovation in the sector. Every two years, 25 employees under the age of 30 from Mohawk’s sites in Italy, Spain, Poland and Bulgaria participate in an immersive, experience-based learning program which aims to provide participants with a broader knowledge of the company. Participants, split into working groups and led by a tutor, present a project on areas of particular interest for the company at the end of the course. The topics of the 2021-2022 edition were Strategic Technology, Digital Innovation and Sustainability.
