The value of solidarity

Social sustainability is also expressed through concrete attention to people and the most vulnerable communities. Together with institutions and local organizations, we promote initiatives that foster well-being, inclusion, and new opportunities. A particular focus is placed on young people and those living in conditions of vulnerability, with the aim of contributing to the creation of a more equitable society that is attentive to everyone’s needs.

To support the communities of Emilia-Romagna affected by the flood, we joined the regional fundraising campaign dedicated to environmental recovery actions and the management of hydrogeological instability. Our contribution supported the Agency for Territorial Security and Civil Protection in restoring the most heavily damaged areas, within a context that includes significant public investments and local interventions aimed at securing waterways and at-risk land, offering tangible support to the territory.

Together with other companies from the ceramic district, we contributed to equipping Sassuolo Hospital with new technologies. Our support enabled the purchase of a latest-generation CT scanner and advanced radiology equipment, now used for non-invasive cardiac examinations and for faster diagnoses in oncology and vascular fields. The services are also supported by digital systems that improve image quality, reduce radiation exposure, and allow physicians to share examinations between facilities across the territory, strengthening the quality of diagnostic pathways offered to the community.

We continue to support the Italian Lymphoma Foundation, a national reference point for independent clinical research on lymphoproliferative diseases. Our contribution supports multidisciplinary studies and programs aimed at improving therapeutic pathways, with the goal of enhancing the quality of care and expanding well-being prospects for patients treated in the main hematology centers across Italy.

We supported Grade Onlus, Gruppo Amici dell’Ematologia of Reggio Emilia, which for more than thirty years has supported scientific research, hospital departments, and hematology patients. The contribution supports advanced care programs, hospitality projects for families, and initiatives aimed at strengthening local healthcare services. The goal is to reinforce a network of solidarity and innovation that improves the quality of care and promotes more effective, accessible, and person-centered treatment pathways.

We support the Giacomo Sintini Association in the “Give a Smile” project, an initiative that brings moments of serenity and joy to children in the Pediatric Oncology department of the Hospital of Perugia. Through personalized gifts and dedicated activities, the project helps create small moments of normality along the treatment journey. This attention offers support to families and contributes significantly to the well-being of the community.

Support for Amici per la Vita, an association based in the province of Modena, is directed toward the Hospice Casa Giuly project, a facility dedicated to accompanying people in the advanced stages of illness and designed to offer welcoming environments with support services also for families. A care model centered on the dignity of the person, capable of combining clinical quality, proximity, and attention to emotional and relational needs.

We supported La Caramella Buona Onlus, a leading organization in Italy and Europe in the fight against child sexual abuse and gender-based violence. The support is directed toward programs aimed at preventing and combating abuse, protecting victims, and promoting a culture of legality. The goal is to guarantee listening, safety, and rights in the most exposed contexts, promoting collaborative networks among institutions, schools, and communities for greater social awareness.

The “Amici per il Centrafica” Association operates in the Central African Republic to support vulnerable children and communities through educational and social initiatives. At the La Joie de Vivre center in Bangui, where a school and healthcare services are already active, we supported the construction of a basketball court and the launch of a new school for younger children with dedicated coaches. A space designed to offer young people a safe place to grow, where sport becomes a concrete opportunity for personal and social development.

We contributed to the creation of Casa Abbraccio in Catania, a project by LAD Onlus dedicated to children affected by oncological diseases. The facility, designed by the Frontini Terrana studio, is an nZEB building (nearly Zero Energy Building), capable of ensuring high efficiency and environmental comfort, and has received the patronage of Italian and international architectural and territorial institutions. Through the supply of ceramic floors and wall coverings, the Group supported the creation of safe, welcoming, and sustainable spaces, recognized for the high social and architectural value of the project.
