Eden and Calce, the new Ragno collections that rediscover the beauty of the small 7x28 cm size.
The appeal of bare brickwork is re-evoked by the new Eden and Calce wall tiles, two 7x28 cm collections that reflect the latest interior design trends, with the return to small tile sizes.
Eden is a majolica-look brick tile with a waxy, distressed appearance, available in 5 different shades, Bianco, Cotone, Greige, Fango and Ottanio, with a gloss finish. The edges are slightly uneven to resemble the imperfections of the original material and recall the style of past ages. For a touch of originality, Ragno offers the Tin decor tile, available in Bianco and Cotone colours, inspired by the original enamelled tin ceiling tiles used in Victorian industrial buildings.
The Calce collection, on the other hand, features matt brick tiles that reproduce the effect of sagramatura, an ancient method of protection applied starting in the Middle Ages to prevent water from seeping into walls. Brickwork was coated with a thin layer of plaster to create a smooth, firm surface, a characteristic reproduced in this collection. The 6 different shades range from cream to black and interpret the inspiration material with a touch of modern style.
Two collections to suit different moods: lovers of urban style can opt for Calce and combine it with industrial furnishings to create interior design schemes inspired by New York lofts, to give their homes the distinctive allure of the Big Apple, while enthusiasts of vintage design can choose the Eden collection as the basis for sophisticated contaminations that mix tradition and innovation.
The gallery contains some ideas for decorating bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms using the brickwork effect.
